If your really serious about getting your fit on in 2018, then I suggest you stop reading this post and start working out, now! Okay, wait, read this post first and then work out 😀.

1. The secret to losing fat

There are absolutely no secrets, no matter what any one says. The number one thing you need to do, to lose fat is watch what you eat. Literally, carefully select the foods you eat. Honestly, that can become very tiresome.

If you want this to be a little easier, you have to shop healthy. Always have healthy foods in your home pantry, cabinets and refrigerator. Once you do this it’s kind of hard to eat unhealthy. Plus if you keep this method up, over time eating the right foods for your body becomes a habit and let’s face it, habits are hard to break. Eating healthy is a great habit to pick up in 2018.


2. What about dining out

Well if your following the first tip, then you are already cooking at home. Occasionally, eating out and eating almost whatever you want in moderation is okay and it’s not a bad thing.
If you’re not following rule number one, then it’s going to be extremely hard for you to lose fat. But it’s not impossible, it just may take you a little longer.

Eating out is fun, fast and convenient. It’s the time we spend with friends and love ones. Make the right choices, if your eating out a few times a week have a protein salad, lean meats, with vegetables, substitute rice and noodles with quinoa. If you cannot find quinoa then have brown rice or whole grain foods. I would say skip the desert, unless it’s a special occasion.

3. When should you have cheat meals

Weekends are a good time to have cheat meals. A cheat meal during the week day is cool too, just so you won’t feel like you are depriving yourself. Everything in moderation. Stay away from cheat days, don’t eat crap all day, 1 bad meal will not kill you but one bad day may do the trick😁.
Remember it’s a cheat meal and not a cheat day; I wish I remembered this during the holiday season last year.


4. Workouts are golden

Working out is the icing on the cake. Honestly, to lose fat you do not necessarily have to workout, if you eat healthy you will lose fat. However, workout gives the golden touch, workout makes you feel strong, look tone and release stress. Of course, it helps with losing fat but only if your eating healthy foods.
