HOW TO BE A WINNER IN 2018

LIFESTYLE

Well, it’s day five of 2018 and it’s going wonderfully. I feel like 2018 is going to be different from most years. A major breakthrough that I am looking forward to is new and better opportunities for my blog and taking my content to the next level.

It’s not that my blog isn’t doing good, it is, but I am not where I want to be. Well not yet at least and this may take a long time for me to achieve what I really want here but I feel that 2018 has great things on the agenda for me and my blog.

I took my life into my own hands towards the end of 2016. I took charge of the horrible situations that I was in at work and I landed my dream job in 2017! If you take charge of your life and make life-changing decisions, you too can win in 2018.

If you want to win in 2018 there are a few simple steps you have to follow. Continue reading to find out.

Stop being comfortable

You know that one thing you always wanted to do? and that little voice in your head that’s always telling you just do it but you’re just so comfortable in the known, comfortable with being comfortable. Yes that thing that you always wanted, go for it! Whatever it may be. You won’t know how great you’ll be until you get out of your comfort zone and try something new.

Stop waiting for someone to save you

So many times we become dependent on others to do everything. But how is that helping you? You’re probably being more of a burden than anything and the reason why you haven’t heard that before because the person is too nice, so they keep silent about the situation. The time is now for you to achieve your own no matter if it’s a small achievement. Being independent makes you feel powerful even if it’s just in your circle.

Don’t give up easily

Honestly, I still struggle with giving up when things seems dim. But I’ve gotten better over the years because I pushed through the hard times. Keep working and being resilient because your breakthrough will come when you least expect it. You do not want to have regrets and what ifs you had continued for a few more months; maybe you could have accomplished more than you dreamed of if you went a little longer. Life is hard and dreams are hard to accomplish but do not give up because your breakthrough is around the corner.

You have to be smart about winning

Carefully get to know the people in your corner. If someone is creating negativity around you, leave them behind. Negative people will only bring you down. Surround yourself with family and friends who want to uplift you.

Network

It’s always good to meet new people. Find new friends that share the same interests. Networking is great to enhance your career. It’s also helpful to learn about others backgrounds, cultures and traditions. Being open to different beliefs and opinions is a sign that you are already on your way to be a winner 2018.

Work Work Work
It’s great to take breaks and go on vacations. But when you want to become a winner in your craft you have to sacrifice a few things so you will become great at whatever it is you want in life. Winning is not for the lazy but for the swift.

P.S. Have a plan and a planner, write your visions down.

Let me know in the comments below what you anticipate for 2018. Feel free to share my content with whoever you think needs to read this.

This is a great post and yes I totally agree that whatever you want to do, you have to do it yourself and nobody will come to save you. All you need is to get started, rest will fall in place on its own!!

The wisdom I am hearing from everywhere is to become comfortable being uncomfortable. Thanks for being the most recent agent of the universe to whisper that to me. Here is to 2018!
